Vitamin B12 Deficiency Related to Tinnitus

On the stop press pages we will bring you snippets on what Tinnitus Sufferers are blogging about which we hope will be of interest to you.

It has been shown that a vitamin B12 deficiency was common among people with tinnitus. So can a good diet stop the ringing in the ears? Many people say it can because B12 helps the body protect the nerves in the inner ear.

Foods rich in vitamin B12 are milk and other dairy products, meat, liver, fish eggs and milk products. Vegetarians interested in this approach would need to explore the possibility of supplementing with B12.

Of course this is one of the many single dimension approaches to finding your cure for tinnitus that we find does not give long term relief from the ringing in the ears. But there are exceptions whether it is the placebo effect or the actual B12 we don’t know; but hey. If it works for then that is great. Tell us about it, please.
